Design by Nature Gardens display project

 
I recently completed a fused glass tile project for the Design by Nature Gardens display at the Pacific Northwest Flower and Garden show in Seattle.

 Laying out the design starting with a base layer of clear, then a layer of opalescent, creates the basic tile shape and size.
 
The brightly colored elements are then placed on top and the pieces are fired.

 
Into the kiln to be heated to 1465 degrees.

 
Dry run set up before the show.
